Everest VBS

Many thanks to the children, parents, and volenteers who participated in this year's Vacation Bible School (VBS) titled Everest. At Everest, we learned of the infinite power of God, while playing games, making crafts, watching skits, and so much more. Check out this video and picture gallery of this past weeks activities.

Movie Night

Movie Night is scheduled for Sunday, April 26, 2015. Doors open at 6pm for fellowship, hot dogs, and snacks. The movie, Ring the Bell, will start at 6:30pm.

Movie Description

Slick, big-city sports agent Rob Decker has it all. But on his latest mission to sign a high school baseball superstar, Rob becomes stranded in a small town where the simplicity of life—and the faith of the people—stands in stark contrast to his own fast-paced, win-at-all-costs mindset. Torn between these two worlds, will Rob have the courage to let faith transform his life? Sometimes the next big thing isn't what you expect.

Starring Ryan Scharoun and Ashley Anderson McCarthy, RING THE BELL features Christian music artists Casting Crowns, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Matthew West, along with baseball legends Rick Sutcliffe, John Kruk, and Ben Zobrist. This heartwarming story of redemption will entertain and inspire the whole family.

Lesson 5 - Science: What Is True?

Lesson 5 of The Truth Project will begin on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at 7pm. This lesson will occur in the Chapel, and all are welcome to attend.

Lesson Summary

In this, our fifth worldview tour, we head northwest, enter the cavern of nature, gaze upon the jewels of creation, and establish yet another important pillar in the Temple of Truth: science. In the process, we discover that whereas “the heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork” (Psalm 19:1)—so that the Creator’s “invisible attributes are clearly seen” (Romans 1:20)—mankind has nevertheless chosen to ignore the obvious truth, twisting scientific investigation into a vehicle for propagating a godless philosophy of human independence and self-determination.
